Getting to the Race Parking will be signposted and is available in the grounds next to the main Pavilion (Race HQ). Competitors should use this in preference to parking in the road adjacent to the start area which should be kept as clear as possible for emergency vehicles. Chiswick mainline rail station is 10 minutes walk from the start and is on the Waterloo – Hounslow line, stopping at Clapham Junction. The 190 bus runs between Hammersmith and Richmond tube stations and will drop you near the start. If you are arriving at Turnham Green station, the E3 bus runs from this station to Chiswick rail station. |

Before the Race Please fix your number to the front of your vest. A list of pre-race entrants will be displayed. The local map shows the location of the Race HQ on the first floor of the Pavilion. Within the Race HQ, you will find an information desk for general queries, refreshments, and toilets with limited changing and shower facilities on the ground floor. Bags can be deposited in the changing room which will be locked during the race. However, the organisers cannot be held responsible for the security of bags left during the race. |

The Race The race will start promptly at 9.30am. The local map shows the start and finish; the course map shows the route. There are signs and marshals around the course. The course has been SEAA measured, so mile indicators will be accurate. The course is run on a mixture of road, pavement and towpath. Normal flat running shoes are ideal; patches of the towpath can get muddy. There are two water stations on the course and another at the end. Where the course follows road, please run on the pavements for your own safety. The half-mile by Richmond swimming pool can become very busy. |

After the Race All finishers will receive a Fuller’s sponsored drinks glass as a memento. There are food and bar facilities in the Race HQ above the changing rooms. Prize Giving This will be held in the Race HQ at 12.00pm. There will be awards for individuals, overall and by age group as well as for teams. Results will be displayed as soon as possible. Please leave a Stamped Addressed Envelope (SAE) and 50p if you would like results to be sent to you. Results will also be available on this website as soon as possible after the race. |
